Privacy
Policy
Your
privacy is very important to us.
Accordingly, we have developed this
Policy in order for you to
understand how we access, collect, use,
retain, and delete personal information. The
following outlines our privacy
policy.
·
Our app is an Electronic Logging Device (ELD) that has been certified by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA). According to FMCSA requirements for ELDs, location is required on a change of Record of Duty Status. This may occur while the app is running in the background. More information can be found at: PART 395—HOURS OF SERVICE OF DRIVERS
·
We access and collect location data when required for ELD operation and compliance, including when a Record of Duty Status changes. This may include background location access when needed for required ELD events.
·
We collect your phone number only if you choose to open a support ticket from within the app so that we can contact you directly solely for the purpose of assisting you with your issue.
·
We do not collect, access, use, or share any health data through this app.
·
We use collected information solely for the purpose of providing ELD functionality, complying with applicable legal requirements, and responding to support requests that you initiate, unless otherwise required by law.
·
We will retain location and related ELD records only while your account remains open and thereafter only as long as necessary for legal compliance and support of the service. We will retain support contact information, including phone numbers submitted through a support ticket, only while your account remains open and as long as necessary to respond to and resolve the reported issue and for any required recordkeeping.
·
You may request deletion of support contact information that you submitted through the app by contacting us at support@roadready.solutions. We will delete that information unless we are required to retain it for legal, compliance, or legitimate business recordkeeping purposes. ELD records may be retained as required by applicable law or regulatory obligations.
·
Before or at
the time of collecting personal
information, we will identify the
purposes for which information is
being collected.
·
We will
collect personal information by
lawful and fair means and, where
appropriate, with the knowledge or
consent of the individual concerned. For example, in order to use the Field Ticket feature you are required to consent to the use of a phone number for us to contact you regarding your issue.
·
Personal data
should be relevant to the purposes
for which it is to be used, and, to
the extent necessary for those
purposes, should be accurate,
complete, and up-to-date.
·
We will
protect personal information by
reasonable security safeguards
against loss or theft, as well as
unauthorized access, disclosure,
copying, use or modification.
·
We will make
readily available to customers
information about our policies and
practices relating to the management
of personal information.
We are
committed to conducting our business
in accordance with these principles
in order to ensure that the
confidentiality of personal
information is protected and
maintained.
